Lenka Krstic, born in Ruma, Serbia on April 13th 1993
First steps in art Lenka made in her mentor’s private studio, who gradually introduced her to the world of painting and prepared her for the upcoming art education.
After Primary School, in 2008, Lenka moved to Šabac, and enrolled in the School of Art and Crafts, as Conservation –restoration of cultural heritage. Her mentor was prof. Ljiljana Kekić.
In 2012 Lenka enrolled Academy of Classical Painting, Sr. Kamenica, Novi Sad. On the first year of studying she collaborated with professor Žarko Drinčić in the Drawing Classes.
She graduated in 2014, in the class of prof. Vasilije Dolovački with whom she collaborated for three years in the Painting Classes. Lenka went through several phases during art education, but still cherishes the tradition of the Old Masters from the 19th century, such as: Frederich Church, Thomas Moran, Albert Bierstadt etc. Lenka’s pieces are landscapes inspired and influenced by paintings of the Hudson River School: “I aspire to reach that atmosphere and impressive brush strokes, along with the realistic details.’’
First solo exhibition was held in 2014. Over the years Lenka had participated in over twenty collective exhibitions.
